Urmila wants to work parallelly with actress, political identity

The country’s popular actress Urmila Srabonti Kar is busy working on several serial dramas. Besides, she is also busy with solo dramas and TVCs (TV commercials). Recently, she is working on a TVC for Aysha Memorial Hospital.
About her work, Urmila said, “Besides working on serial dramas, I have recently done several solo dramas. I did shoot a TVC for Aysha Memorial a few days ago with Emon as co-artist.”
“I’m always a little pickier at work. I chose my work if I like the story, character. I don’t want to work randomly,” she added.
Besides the small screen, Urmila has also acted on the big screen. At the end of 2019, she started working on a film titled ‘From Bangladesh’, however, he could not finish due to the Covid-19 outbreak last year.
The shooting of the movie is almost over. Only Dubbing has remained and it will start very soon, Urmila said regarding the movie. “If all goes well, viewers will see me on the big screen this year.”
Outside of acting, Urmila has got a place in the central women’s sub-committee of the Awami League. She wants to go ahead with both actress and political identity. “I could have been more active in politics if I am not in the world of acting. But both are now my present identity. I want to work in parallel with both,” she added.
