As long as there is a coronavirus crisis in the country, Awami League leaders will be with the people, party general secretary Obaidul Quader said.

He said this while addressing a press conference at the political office of the party president in the capital’s Dhanmondi on Sunday.

Obaidul Quader said that Awami League politics for the people of the country do politics adopting the countrymen in their happiness, sorrow and passion. To combat this global crisis, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is constantly monitoring the entire situation and giving necessary guidance. She is taking short and long term work plans and programs. As long as there is a crisis, the Awami League leaders will be with the people, veteran politician added also .

He said that all the normal activities have stopped due to the severe crisis of coronavirus worldwide. But the advance of human civilization is inevitable. In the face of this humanitarian disaster, Awami League's social awareness programs are underway to prevent Coronavirus. In keeping with science-based hygiene, party leaders stand beside people across the country.

Awami League general secretary thanked the people of different levels, including Awami League leaders, who stood by the people.

Calling on all to endure the disaster, the minister said that from the past history of society, the people of this country have always dealt with all kinds of disaster with patience and responsibility. They were not defeated by any disaster. You will not listen to any rumors. Careful hygiene must be followed to prevent this deadly infection.

Awami League presidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury, office secretary Biplob Barua relief and social welfare secretary Sujit Roy Nandy were present at the press conference.
