Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni today said all the previous decisions regarding the university admission test have been canceled as the decision will be taken by completing a meeting to fix the dates of admission tests for enrolling first year students for year 2020-2021 of all universities after the reopening of the university.
Earlier, Dr. Dipu Moni said in an emergency press conference on Monday afternoon that the classes in all the public universities in the country will be started from May 24. The residential halls of public universities will be reopened on 17 May.
Besides, no examinations will be taken before the reopening, but online classes will continue.
After the opening of the university on May 24, there will be a discussion with all concerned about when the admission test will be held. The students, who are going to participate in admission tests, have to wait for about four more months to sit for the exam.
