For a long time, the noise has been heard in different tube wells in the area. But no one is taking the matter seriously. When they make the fire of it, then the pipe burns. The incident spread to the whole village within a moment. Locals demanded that the gas be lifted by the government.

Azizul Rahman of Jamdar's house in the area said, “The water in the pond next to my house often dries up. Bathing and washing are difficult for my family members. That is why it is not decided to establish a tube well two days ago. When the workers put 25 feet pipe in the ground, the water starts to rise. There is also a smell coming out. The villagers did not understand the matter.”

Farid Mia another villager said, “The government should examine the situation of gas in our village. If there is a lot of gas available here, they should pick up the gas and provide gas at every house in the village. And if it possible to make any factory in the village by using the gas then it decreases the unemployment problem.”

Chairman of Rajapur Union Parishad Mizanur Rahman Khan told the DC and UNO about the rise in gas. They assured to take action on the matter quickly. He also demanded the government for a speedy gas test.
