The Trump administration will implement a new policy for pregnant women entering the United States. Under the new policy, no foreign pregnant woman is allowed to enter the country.

The US Department of the Interior said that the new visa policy will be implemented from Friday, CNN reported. The policy has already been sent to US embassies around the world, the report said.

Many pregnant women go to the USA to give birth to a child as a US citizen, which is called birth tourism. The United States government has taken this initiative to prevent it.

The White House announced on Thursday that the State Department will no longer issue temporary visitor (B-1/B-2) visas to aliens seeking to enter the United States for birth tourism.

But in certain cases pregnant women will also get visas - if they only want to go to the United States for treatment. In that case, the consular office will have to confirm. At the same time, she will have to submit proof that there is money to pay for the doctor’s expenses, including transportation.

However, this tightening of the US administration will not apply to 39 countries, most of the European countries.
