The United Nations (UN) is ready to work sincerely with the newly formed government to ensure peace, establish peace with the overall development of Bangladesh, said the agency.

This information was given in a post on the Facebook page of the United Nations, Bangladesh on Sunday.

It says that the United Nations will work with the newly elected government of Bangladesh to establish a peaceful, inclusive society, good governance and rule of law for the purpose of fulfilling the 16th phase of the SDG as part of the global development target by implementing the Agenda 2030.

In view of this, the United Nations hopes Bangladesh will keep its promise in implementing the Universal Human Rights Agreement.

The United Nations also thinks that, through the implementation of the promise, it will be possible to bring a positive change in Bangladesh like all the countries. The United Nations is one of the main partners.

Meanwhile, the United Nations expressed hope that the Bangladesh government will play an active role as a new member of the International Human Rights Council. The organization has also welcomed Bangladesh in this regard.
