The United Nations has asked all its staff across the world to avoid traveling on Pakistan-registered airline.
“Due to an ongoing investigation of the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) Pakistan due to dubious licenses caution is advised on the use of Pakistan-registered air operators,” said an advisory issued by the UN Security Management System (UNSMS).
It is not sure when the United Nations note was issued to staff.
The UN advisory means staff working in the country cannot use most domestic airlines even when flying within the country.
UN staff can use Somon Air of Tajikistan, Kam Air of Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan Airways to travel in Pakistan.
