Junior Tigers have beaten Scotland by 7 wickets at Potchefstroom today in the ongoing U-19 cricket World Cup to reach the quarterfinals keeping one match in hand.

Scotland won the toss and chose to bat first but kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Bangladesh left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan has become the first player to make a hat-trick in the 2020 U-19 World Cup.

The 17-year old castled three Scotland batsmen in the 24th over during their Group C match as Scotland crumbled to 89 all out.

In reply, Bangladesh won with 200 deliveries and seven wickets in hand. Towhid Hridoy and Mahmudul Hasan Hoy made a 56-run fourth-wicket partnership to take Bangladesh to victory.
