Two more workers die in Rupganj molten iron accident

Two more workers were killed in the incident of molten iron fell at a factory in Rupganj, Narayanganj. Four workers died so far in the incident.
Two people died while undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS) in the capital on Friday night.
The deceased are Md. Shakil, son of Abdus Sobhan of Banglabari area of Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat and Abu Siddique, son of Tipu Sheikh of Nageshwari upazila of Kurigram.
Dr. Perth Shankar Pal, Resident Surgeon of SHNIBPS confirmed the matter.
Earlier, Mizanur Rahman and Fahim died at SHNIBPS on Thursday morning and Friday afternoon.
Rafiq Mia, son of Sundar Ali of Baura area of Banglabari area of Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat and Mohammad Riaz Uddin's son Raju of Rahmatpur area were burnt in the incident got admitted to a private hospital.
According to the police, the accident took place at around 2.30 am on Friday when iron fell from a factory called Premier Steel Mills in Barpa area of Rupganj upazila.
