Two more cases against Nur in Rajshahi, Cox`s Bazar

Two more cases have been lodged against former vice president of Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) Nurul Haque Nur in Rajshahi and Cox's Bazar under the Digital Security Act over hurting religious sentiments.
Cox's Bazar District Chhatra League Unit's vice-president Moin Uddin filed a case with Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station on Wednesday evening. On the same day, Taurid Al Masud Rony, joint general secretary of Rajshahi Metropolitan Juba League, filed another case with Boalia Model Police Station.
According to the case statements, Nur is making false and fabricated remarks about the Awami League and the government through social media. He spread hatred in society with such provocative and misleading statements.
It has been reported that earlier, four more separate cases were filed against VP Nur with different police stations.
