Two killed in tractor-three-wheeler collision in Tetulia

Two people have been killed and two others injured in a collision and tractor and a three-wheeler in Tetulia Upazila of Panchagarh. 

The accident took place on Saturday night on Tetulia-Banglabandha National Highway in Ranchandi area of ​​the Upazila. 

The deceased were identified as Shahin Hossain, son of Maqbul Hossain of Baniapara area under Devngarh union of Tetulia; and Zakir Hossain, son of Abbas Ali of Jhalingigach area of ​​the same union. They all were passengers of the three-wheeler. 

According to the locals, the three-wheeler left Banglabandha for Bhajanpur Bazar with passengers. When it reached the Ranchandi area, the three-wheeler hit the standing tractor parked on the highway, leaving four passengers, including the driver of the three-wheeler, seriously injured.

Later, the locals rescued the injured and admitted them to Tetulia Upazila Health Complex. As Shahin and Zakir's condition deteriorated, doctors sent them to Panchagarh Modern Sadar Hospital for better treatment. Shahin died on the way to the hospital while Zakir died at the emergency department of the hospital.
