Two drug traders killed in Teknaf gunfight

Two drug traders were killed in a gunfight with members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Domdomia area in Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar early Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Sabbir Hossain, 25, son of Md Ibrahim Sheikh, hailing from Barbaria village of Chitalmari Upazila in Bagerhat and Hafizur Rahman, 35, son of Md Abdul Matin of Savar Upazila in Dhaka.

ASP Shah Alam, acting company commander of RAB Teknaf office, confirmed the information.

A foreign revolver, a one-shooter gun, 11 round bullets and 40,000 pieces of Yaba tablets were recovered from the spot.
