Train tickets of 25pc to be sold at counter from tomorrow

Bangladesh Railway Authority will sell 25 percent of train tickets at counters from Friday.
Confirming this to the media on Thursday, Bangladesh Railway Director (Traffic) Shafiqur Rahman said tickets for June 8 will be available at the counter tomorrow. “Railways issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.”
The notification said intercity trains were carrying half the capacity of passengers amid the COVID situation. So far, 50 percent of tickets were being sold through online and mobile apps.
25 percent of tickets will be available at the counter from 8 am tomorrow. Railways have said that hygiene rules have to be followed while traveling by train.
