In Akhaura of Brahmanbaria, another ‘Raja Babu’ has been found. The weighted 800-kg (20 mounds) bull named Raja Babu's black shiny body and staid moving is really like a king.

Qayum Mia, resident of the Dhatur Pahela village under Mogra UP of the upazila, is the owner of this Friesian bull.

He said, ‘People are coming from far away to see the two-year and 8-month old and eight feet long bull 'Raja Babu'. Customers are also crowding with different prices but I could not make an agreement with anyone yet.’

“Raja Babu has been fattened without using harmful drugs, injections, and chemicals. Nutritional and natural fodders including straw, fresh grass, oil cake, were the regular diet of the bull. So less than eight lakh taka, I will not sell Raja Babu,” told Qayum Mia.

There are 8 more cows like Raja Babu in Kaiyum Miah’s farm. Each costs more than one and a half lakhs. But Raja Babu is the largest cow in the whole upazila.

Kamal Bashar, Veterinary Surgeon of the Upazila, told to The DailyBangladesh, “Raja Babu is an advanced breed of Friesian bulls. Qayum Mia nurtured the bull in natural ways. Overall advice and other supports are being provided on behalf of the upazila livestock office for the better health of all other cattle including the Raja Babu.”
