Light to moderate fog may occur

Light to moderate fog may occur over the Northern part and the river basins of the country during the late night till morning, said a met office release issued on Thursday morning.

The met office also forecasted that Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country while night temperature may fall gradually over the country in the next 72 hours.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.

Meanwhile, The well-marked low over Srilanka and adjoining South-west Bay & Comorin Sea weakened into a low over Comorin Sea and adjoining Srilanka and has become unimportant.

Besides, seasonal low lies over South Bay extending its trough to North-east Bay.

The country’s maximum temperature was recorded 31.6 degrees Celsius yesterday at Sitakunda in Chattogram division while today’s minimum temperature was recorded 14.4 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 5:15 pm today and rises at 6:10 am tomorrow in the capital.
