Tigers to play warm-up match against Oman ‘A’ Friday

Bangladesh will play a warm-up match against Oman ‘A’ at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium on Friday as part of preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
The Tigers are holding their own conditioning camp in Oman. They already practiced for three days.
Due to the quarantine issue, Bangladesh first decided not to play a warm-up match against Oman ‘A’ team, however, decided to play the match after going to Oman.
A senior BCB official said they had decided to play after discussions with the Oman Cricket Board.
The Tigers will leave for Dubai on October 9 after the practice match. The Tigers will play two warm-up matches against Sri Lanka and Ireland on October 12 and 14, respectively. Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman are currently in the UAE to play in the IPL. They will join the team.
Mahmudullah Riyad’s team will return to Oman on October 15 to play the qualifying match. Bangladesh will start the World Cup mission on October 17 with a match against Scotland. They will then play against Oman and Papua New Guinea on October 19 and 21.
