Bangladesh national team cricketers who toured New Zealand have tested Covid-19 negative in the third and final phase. As a result, there are no more barriers to starting practices from quarantine for Tigers.
Bangladesh has starting practice on Thursday. Everyone will be divided into small groups of seven. The venue for practice is Lincoln Green.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) informed players’ Covid-19 negative test results on Wednesday. The team has been allowed to do gym as there are no virus infections in anyone’s body. As a result, the cricketers have completed their first gym session on this day.
Earlier, a plane carrying the Bangladesh team reached Christchurch on February 24. Arrangements have been made for everyone to stay at Lincoln University High-Performance Center, not far from the city. Cricketers have to abide by all the strict rules imposed by the New Zealand government while in quarantine. However, after 14 days, they can now move freely.
