The Bangladesh cricket team has set foot on foreign soil for the first time after the coronavirus pandemic. The Tigers have arrived in New Zealand to play ODIs and the T20 series.
The cricketers reached Christchurch at 7:45 am Bangladesh time on Wednesday. Due to the terrorist attack, the Bangladesh team had to return home from Christchurch two years ago without playing a match.
Although there was no loss in that tour, Tamim-Mushfiq-Mahmudullah was mentally disturbed.
Earlier, the Tigers boarded a Singapore Airlines flight at 4:15 pm on Tuesday.
Bangladesh will play first ODI on March 20 in Dunedin against New Zealand and the T20 series will be started on March 28 in Hamilton.
