Thunders beat Tigers by 4 wickets in MPL

Mymensingh Thunders have won the first match of the new 100-ball Mymensingh Premier League (MPL) as they beat Mymensingh Tigers by 4 wickets with all-rounding performance of Thunders's skipper Shuvagoto Hom Chowdhury.
Shuvagoto took 4 wickets with the ball and was unbeaten on 21 runs to become man of the match in MPL and help his side for a 4-wicket comfortable victory.
After being put on the bat at first Mymensingh Tigers were seen in trouble from the beginning as star batsman Mohammad Ashraful went into pavilion with making 1 off 4 balls. However, Shakil's 43 helped Tigers to make the score 105/9 while Thunders captain Shuvagoto took 4 wickets for 23 runs.
In the response the Thunders lost 4 wickets for 61 runs, but like the tremendous performance in bowling Shuvagoto made a 44-run sixth-wicket stand with Towhid Hridoy to make the 4-wicket victory when 4 balls remain to be bowled.
There were crowed of spectators at the Circuit House ground to watch the MPL game.
