Third Bangladeshi dies of Coronavirus in Italy

One more Bangladeshi expatriate in Italy has reported died of coronavirus taking the number of Bangladeshi deaths in the lethal virus in the country to three.

The victim was identified as Mojibur Rahman hailed from Cumilla.

He died at San Paulo Hospital in Milan on Thursday afternoon. Maulana Jonid Sobhan, the chief Khatib of the central Jame Masjid in Milan, confirmed the news.

Mojibur Rahman had been living in Milan, Italy for a long time. He died while he was undergoing treatment at the hospital for long term illness.

The number of coronavirus infections in Italy is increasing day by day. As a result, anxiety among locals including Bangladesh living in the country is mounting. On Thursday, 760 more people have died in the country. With this, the total death toll stood at 13,915.
