Temperature may remain nearly unchanged

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country in the next 24-hours ending at 9 am tomorrow, said a met office bulletin on Wednesday morning.

According to the bulletin, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh & Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal & Chittagong divisions with hails at isolated places over the country.

The highest 25 millimetres (mm) rainfall was recorded at Rajarhat in Dhaka in 24 hours ending at 6 am today.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperature was recorded 37.5 degrees Celsius yesterday in Rajshahi while today`s minimum temperature 19.4 at Nikli, Netrokona and Srimangal.

Seasonal low lies over South Bay while a trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area

Today’s sunset over the capital city will be at 6:24 pm while tomorrow`s sunrise at 5:28 am.
