President M Abdul Hamid said that the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) should be followed for the entire human race in religious and worldly life.
He said this in a greeting message on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
On the occasion of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), the President conveyed his best wishes and blessings to the Muslim Ummah including the world.
The President said, “The Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), intertwined with the memory of the birth and death of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), is a very holy and glorious day for the people of the world, especially for the Muslims.”
Allah the Almighty sent Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as “Rahmatullah Alameen” as the mercy of the whole world. His arrival in the world took place in the form of “Sirajum Munira” i.e. Luminous Lamp, he also said.
Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) showed the way of light to the people against the injustice, untruth and darkness of the then Arab society and established a true, beautiful and equity society, said President M Abdul Hamid, mentioning: “He is anointed as the greatest human being for his unparalleled devotion to God, his unconditional love and affection, his unparalleled character traits, his boundless kindness and his noble qualities. For this reason, his life is called ‘Uswatun Hashanah’ in the Holy Quran, which means the most beautiful ideal.”
The President further said that Almighty Allah revealed the last great book of the Holy Quran to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and entrusted him with the great responsibility of establishing Tawheed in the world. “In spite of various adversities, through infinite patience, hard work, devotion and boundless sacrifice, he established the religion of peace, Islam, and spread the meaning of this great book all over the world,” he said.
“Besides establishing a society based on equality and justice, the Prophet (PBUH) gave clear language guidelines on the dignity and rights of women, the dignity of labour, the responsibilities and duties of a master. The Farewell Hajj speech will forever be a beacon for mankind,” he also said.
The President said that the “Medina Charter”, the first written constitution in the history of the world, was a testament to the wisdom and foresight of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). This document contains a universal declaration of the establishment of fair rights and dignity of people of all walks of life, irrespective of race, religion and caste. “His teachings in religious and worldly life are to be followed for the whole human race,” he added.
“We pray to Almighty Allah that the lifestyle of the Prophet (PBUH) may enlighten the lives of all of us. May Almighty Allah grant us the grace to work for the welfare of the country, nation and humanity by following the noble ideals of the Prophet (PBUH),” said President M Abdul Hamid.
