Joyanto Chandra Roy of Dinajpur has received first-class in BSS (honors) while he leads his livelihood and costs of study by selling tea. He is the son of Haripada Chandra Roy of Bhandara Union of Birol Upazila. He works as a tailor and sells tea in the shop.

Though he has the desire to study more, lack of money is the main obstacle there, Joyanto said.

It is reported that he didn’t get the opportunity to study in a good educational institution but he passed the SSC with a GPA of 4.19 in science from Bahbol Dighi High School. He passed the HSC from Boardhat College in 2015. This time, he graduated from Birol Government College.

Joyanto said that he worked as a tailor and tea seller in a shop since childhood. From this income, he continued his study by maintaining family expenses, younger siblings’ education cost. But with the increase in costs, now the future is uncertain. I want to study more if anyone provides help.
