Taposh’s manifesto promises to build modern Dhaka

Awami League mayoral candidate for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh unveiled a five-point manifesto on Wednesday. 

Taposh formally unveiled his manifesto at the Awami League central office at Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhaka's Gulistan this morning.  

The five outlines in the manifesto include - Traditional Dhaka, Beautiful Dhaka, Vibrant Dhaka, Well-Governed Dhaka and Developed Dhaka.  

Taposh said that due to the negligence and mismanagement by its authorities, Dhaka has turned into an unplanned and polluted city. He has pledged to transform the capital into a vibrant and well-governed city while preserving its heritage in his manifesto for the upcoming city polls. The Awami League mayoral aspirant promised to restore Dhaka to its full glory if elected.

Taposh was accompanied by Awami League Advisory Council Member Amir Hossain Amu MP, Mozaffar Hossain Paltu, Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nakhim, Organizational Secretary BM Mozammel, Afzal Hossain, Relief and Disaster Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, Science and Technology Secretary Abdus Sabur, Deputy Publicity Secretary Aminul Islam Amin, Central Member Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Kamrul Islam MP, Riazul Kabir Kausar, Golam Rabbani Chinu, Parveen Zaman Kalpana, Sahabuddin Farazi, Dhaka Metropolitan Awami League President Abu Ahmed Monnafi, general secretary Humayun Kabir and Juba League chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Porosh.
