Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, the ruling party-backed mayoral candidate in the Dhaka South City Corporation election, said the people of Dhaka are turning the tide in favor of the boat during the election campaign. Wherever I am going, I get the spontaneous support of the townspeople.
He told reporters on Sunday, launching a campaign for the 10th day from the north side of Motijheel Notre Dame College in the capital.
For the city dwellers, Taposh said election campaigning for the boat has become a mass- congregation this time. So I would say you give me time till February 1, I will give you time for the next 5 years. "We want to be elected with too many votes." For this, all the leaders have to go from house to house and ask for votes. If we can do this, then the boat will win by a huge margin on February 1.
To the party leaders, Tapas said, you will cheat in the most organized manner while campaigning. Do not act disturbing for pedestrians or common people. The more we can get to the doorstep of people, the more the voting gap will be decreased.
Giving a commitment to make a nice metropolitan city as a gift to the townspeople if elected, he said that he hoped a free and fair election on the first of February and that the citizens of the city would choose a suitable candidate for mayor.
