Tamim plays ‘match referee’ in Tigers’ warm-up match

After a long break of seven months, the players of the Bangladesh cricket team started playing the first match today. Even though it is not an international match, the cricketers are playing a warm-up match to prepare themselves. Everyone in the national team camp is playing this two-day warm-up match by dividing into two teams with national team ODI format captain Tamim Iqbal in the role of match referee!
The two teams, led by Muminul Haque and Najmul Hossain Shanto, met at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Muminul’s team has been named Ryan Cook XI. On the other hand, Shanto leading the team of Otis Gibson XI. After winning the toss, Shanto decided to bat first.
Tamim Iqbal is not playing in the first warm-up match between them. Although he did not play, he was seen as a match referee between Cook XI and Gibson XI in the morning.
