Opener Tamim Iqbal's brilliant ton guided Bangladesh to a five-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the third and final game of the three-match one-day international series at Harare on Tuesday. Following this victory, Bangladesh completed a 3-0 sweep.

Tamim scored  97-ball 112 while Nurul Hasan finished it with an unbeaten 39-ball 45 at the Harare Sports Club as Bangladesh cruised to 302/5 in just 48 over. 

After winning the toss Bangladesh invited Zimbabwe to bat first and they were all out for 298 with three balls to spare. 

Bangladesh made a strong start in their chase of 299 in the third and final ODI against Zimbabwe. Tamim shared 88 runs with Liton Das in the opening stand before the latter dismissed to Madhevere scoring 32 off 37.

Tamim and Shakib keep the momentum in favor of Bangladesh after losing Liton Das. The duo made 59 off 69 in the second wicket stand. Before being dismissed to Jongwe Shakib scored 30 off 42.

Tamim kept the momentum in favor of Bangladesh picking up runs. Tamim and Mithun made 57 runs stand in the third wicket. After drinks, Tamim and Mahmudullah dismissed in two balls off Tripano which also created chance for a hat-trick. But Nurul Hasan handled the situation well hitting four in the first ball. 

Nurul and Mithun shared 64 runs between them in the fifth wicket stand before Mithun (30 off 57) lost his wicket to Madhevere. 

Nurul Hasan and Afif Hossain scored unbeaten 34 runs in the sixth wickets stand and left the field after ensuring victory for Bangladesh. Nurul scored 39-ball 45 not out. Afif Hossain who ensured the victory with consecutive six and four
was not out on 26 off 17, striking three fours and one six.

For Zimbabwe, Donald Tripano and Madhevere bagged two wickets each while LM Jongwe took the other wicket.

Earlier, Regis Chakabva, Sikandar Raza, and Ryan Burl's fifties helped host Zimbabwe to post 298 despite all-out three balls to spare in the third and final ODI. Regis Chakabva scored the team's highest 84 while Ryan Burl made 59 and Sikandar Raza scored 57. For Bangladesh, pacer Mustafizur Rahman and Saifuddin took three wickets.  Mahmudullah bagged 2 for 45 while Taskin and Shakib took one wicket apiece.

Regis Chakabva and T Marumani added 36 runs in the opening stand before the latter dismissed to Shakib Al Hasan for 8. 

Skipper BRM Taylor and Chakabva shared 42 runs between them in the second wickets stand before the former dismissed for 28 to Mahmudullah. 

Chakabva and Myers took the helm after losing skipper Taylor. The two added 71 runs in the third wickets stand. But Myers was bowled by Mahmudullah scoring 34 off 38 when Zimbabwe's score was 149 in 29.2 overs. 

Mustafizur Rahman who is playing his first match this series struck in the very next over to remove Wessley Madhevere (3). Three overs later Taskin Ahmed dismissed Regis Chakabva (84 off 91) to register his first wicket in this match and Zimbabwe lost their fifth wickets to 172 in 34.1 overs.

Pacer Taskin Ahmed bowled Regis Chakabva (84 off 91) to bring the fifth breakthrough for Bangladesh, who was looking dangerous in the third and final ODI of the three-match series at Harare Sports Club today.

Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl scored 112 off 80 in the sixth wickets stand which kept Zimbabwe in the match. When Raza (57 off 54) was dismissed by Mustafizur Rahman as the sixth batsman Zimbabwe then put 284/6 in 47.3 overs. Ryan Burl who scored 59 off just 43 went out to Saifuddin in the 49th over when Zimbabwe were 294/7. They added only 4 runs for the last three wickets as Saifuddin took three wickets in his last over. Then Mustafizur Rahman bowled Blessing Muzarabani for naught to end Zimbabwe innings on 298 in 49.3 over.
