Suicide blast kills 14 in Nigeria mosque

At least 14 people were killed when a suicide bomber attacked a mosque on Nigeria`s border with Cameroon. It is believed that more bodies buried under the ruins of the mosque. Local administration is continuing to rescue.

The local administration has expressed fear that the Nigerian extremist militant group Boko Haram has carried out the attack.

A suicide bomber blew himself up inside during dawn prayers in the mosque.

A top official told the media that 14 people have been rescued from the mosque`s demolition in the attack. It was possible to recover one person from the mosque in critical condition. It is believed that the number of dead can be increased. The mosque was completely destroyed in the attack.

The local newspaper said that the rescue mission is progressed.

Earlier in November, at least 50 people were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a mosque in Adamawa state.
