The India’s Supreme Court has directed the Maharashtra government and Mumbai police to submit details of the investigation into Sushant’s case within the next three days. Besides, the apex court rejected Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for security.
Last week, the actor’s father KK Singh Rajput lodged an FIR with the Patna police in the Sushant case. The very next day, Rhea Chakraborty appealed to transfer the case from Bihar to Mumbai Police. The case was heard on Wednesday, August 5.
Justice Hrishikesh Roy asked the Mumbai police to submit all the information related to the investigation within three days. “The matter, actor’s family feared that the evidence might be destroyed, will be considered,” he also said.
Recently, allegations were raised that an investigating officer of Bihar police was sent forcibly into quarantine by Mumbai Police. In that context, the apex court said, “This case is in the spotlight, so the incident is sending a negative message to the people. Everything should be done with professionalism.”
