Mentioning that all the land offices of the union will be brought under CCTV, he said, “The Government has tightened zero tolerance policy on corruption by keeping scope for voice recording in different points.”
“As part of this, all the officers and employees of the Land Ministry and all the land offices in the country will have to submit their accounts statement. It will be done by February 28," said the minister.”
Pointing out that there are a lot of problems in the land offices in the country, Minister Saifuzzaman said, “I want to give courage all the officials. I will start working from ground level. We took the initiative to automate the complexity and harassment of the land ministry. People will get the benefit from it.”
The Land Minister said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave three ministers and one deputy minister from Chattogram. We will all work together in the development for the country. We will satisfy by giving good works to the people.”
He also said, “The land ministry was once a dumping station. But it is very important. In five years, we will bring this to a good position. All the initiatives including automation will be made dynamic. If there is good governance in this sector, there will be a revolutionary change.”
The minister said, “Those who practice corruption, they will be removed. I'm here for the honor. The day, on which corruption will touch, it will be my last day. Anybody will be forced to answer the question. I want everyone to be a servant for the people.”
