Stolen Tk60 lakh of National Bank recovered

Four people have been arrested for their alleged involvement in stealing Tk 80 lakh from a vehicle of National Bank Limited (NBL) in Old Dhaka. TK 60 lakh out of the stolen money and two firearms were also recovered.
Police conducted a drive at various areas in the capital and arrested them on Monday night.
The arrestees are- Hannan alias Robin alias Rafiqul Islam, 50, Md. Mustafa, 52, Md. Babul Mia, 55, and Parveen, 31.

On May 10, a vehicle of National Bank collected money from different branches of Old Dhaka and started for the head office in Motijheel. Along with the car driver, there are an officer and two armed security guards. When they reached Babu Bazar, a security guard noticed that one of the bags, that contained Tk80 lakh, was missing.
Later, an officer of the bank filed a case with Kotwali police station in this regard. Police arrested the four people, who were in the vehicle, in this connection and interrogate them.
After examining CCTV footage, police arrested the four people.
