St. Martin`s Service hits autorickshaw, killing 2

Two people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between an autorickshaw and a bus of St. Martin's Service at Ukhiya in Cox's Bazar around 7:30 am on Tuesday.
Locals said that two people were killed on the spot when an autorickshaw collided head-on with a Teknaf-bound bus of St. Martin service on the highway adjacent to the Customs TV Tower in Ukhia. Two more people were injured in the incident. The condition of one of the injured is critical.
The deceased was identified as Monir Ahmad, son of Abdur Rahim of Noapara. The other is an autorickshaw driver. His identity was not known.
Injured Khairul Bashar Babul, son of Maqbul Sobahan of Noapara, has been shifted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital as his condition is critical. Another was admitted to Red Crescent Hospital, adjacent to the TV tower.
