Sri Lanka meets Australia in the 5th match of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup on Monday. Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu won the toss and opted to bat first at WACA Ground in Perth. 

Through this match, Aussie captain Meg Lanning has played her 100th T20 International. She is the 14th female cricketer to achieve this feat. 

Both teams suffered defeat in their first game in the tournament. Aussie Women defeated in their opening match against India by a margin of 17 runs. Sri Lanka Women also suffered a defeat in their curtain-raiser against New Zealand by a big margin of seven wickets.
