Special flights to five countries to be launched soon

The government is planning to launch special flights to five countries for expatriate workers soon. These countries are Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Qatar and Singapore.
The decision was taken at a virtual meeting chaired by Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen on Wednesday.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) will confirm the detailed work plan on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment and Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Chairman of Civil Aviation and MD of Biman, among others.
