Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda said that Rohingyas are being closely monitored so that they cannot be voters.

Quoting that the people of the country are facing problems due to Rohingyas, he said that the police administration is reserving their fingerprints immediately after entering Bangladesh.

The CEC said this while he saw addressing as the chief guest at the voter list update program opening ceremony held at the Rajbari district commissioner's office auditorium on Tuesday morning.

KM Nurul Huda said, once a person could be enlisted as voter in multiple places hiding his identity. But there is no longer a chance because of the biometric method.

EVM will be used for upcoming elections. The administration is of Bangladesh, the people's representatives are also of Bangladesh. If everyone works together with integrity and devotion, then nobody will be able to keep stuck.

Rajbari Deputy Commissioner Md. Shawkat Ali presided over the meeting while Rajbari Police Super Asma Siddika Mili, District Council Chairman Fakir Abdul Jabbar spoke.

Civil society leaders, public representatives and administration officials of the district were present.
