Spanish captain Busquets tested positive for Covid-19

Spain’s football team captain Sergio Busquets has left the Euro 2020 training camp after being positive for Covid-19, the country’s football federation confirmed the information.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) said in a statement that Busquets, 32, tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday morning. Besides, everyone else in the team has been tested negative. Busquets left La Roza practice camp in the morning.
The RFEF added that anyone who came in contact with Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets was kept in isolation as a precaution. As part of the preparations for Euro 2020, the entire team took part in a personal training program which started on Friday.
Spain will start their Euro mission on June 14 with a match against Sweden. Coach Luis Enrique has not yet announced any new changes to the squad ahead of the match in Sevilla.
Sergio Busquets played 120 matches so far in the Spanish jersey. He was a member of the team that won the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 Euro. The veteran has also won eight Spanish leagues and three Champions Leagues for Barcelona.
