A video of an episode of Major (Retd.) Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan's school debate contest went viral on social media recently. He took part in the debate competition as the team leader of BAF Shaheen College.

The episode of the debate contest aired on Bangladesh Television in 1998 was conducted by the former Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman.

Sinha Mohammad Rashed started his argument by saying, "Thank you, Honorable President, for giving me another chance. The first speaker of the opposition team said that unemployment depends on the economy. But I have made thousands of arguments that economic development is never possible without learning English. The opposition team followed the example of Germany, Japan, and other countries. But Japan and Germany are economically developed countries. They do not have to go abroad to earn a living or depend on others for help. But even today we (Bangladesh) cannot do any big work without the help of foreign nations.
