Sinha Murder: Interrogation of accused begins

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has started interrogation of the accused in the murder case of Major (retd) Sinha Mohammed Rashed Khan.
The interrogation of the four, who were granted a two-day remand, began at the gate of Cox's Bazar District Jail after 2 pm on Saturday.
Besides, the three accused remanded for seven days, Teknaf Baharchhara Investigation Center In-charge (dismissed) Liaquat Ali, Teknaf Police Station OC (dismissed) Pradeep Kumar Das and SI Nanda Dulal Rakshit will be taken into the RAB custody on Sunday.
RAB-15 deputy commander Major Mehedi Hasan said the four had been interrogated separately since Saturday noon. In the interest of a fair and impartial investigation, attempts will be made to uncover the clues of the incident through interrogation.
Cox's Bazar Jail Superintendent Mokammel Hossain said the necessary documents regarding the seven accused remanded in the Major Sinha murder case have reached the jail. After that, the RAB investigation team started interrogating the four accused at the jail gate. The rest accused, remanded for seven days, are to be taken into RAB custody on Sunday.
