‘Shishu Bokta’ Rafiqul remanded for 7 more days

Rafiqul Islam Madani, widely known as "Shishu Bokta", was placed on remand for seven more days in a case filed under the Digital Security Act with Motijheel police stations in Dhaka.
A virtual court of Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sufiyan Md Noman placed Madani passed the order on Thursday after hearing.
Earlier, the investigation officer of the case produced him before the court and shouted a 10-day remand for him.
On April 21, a virtual court in Dhaka placed Madani on a four-day remand in a case filed with Motijheel Police Station over the violence on March 25 this year.
Rafiqul Islam was arrested on April 8 in a case filed by the RAB under the Digital Security Act for making provocative statements. On April 7, RAB arrested Rafiqul Islam from his village home. The next day, the RAB filed a case with the Gachha police station in Gazipur.
Earlier on Tuesday, Rafiqul Islam was sent to jail after a two-day remand in a case filed by the RAB under the Digital Security Act.
