Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has bounced back a new controversy just after he sent the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) a letter to ask for permission to sit out the Sri Lanka tour in April for desiring to play in the IPL and BCB granted him permission.
In yesterday's auction, Shakib was picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders for 3.2 crore rupees. He sent the letter to BCB and skipped himself from the upcoming Sri Lanka tour and it made a lot of controversies on social media.
However, in such a difficult time Sakib Ummey Al Hasan Shishir, Shakib Al Hasan's wife, stands by her husband.
She shared a tweet of famous Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle with a picture of Shakib on Facebook and gave the caption, "He always has a plan."
"More people choosing to play the IPL over tests for their country. @Sah75officialwill play for @KKRiders instead of tests against Sri Lanka. With two T20 World Cups and a 50 over World Cup in the next two years, the priorities are becoming easier to articulate," Harsha Bhogle's tweet read.
