Sheikh Hasina pushes country forward, others retreat

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said, when Sheikh Hasina handed over power to BNP in 2001, country's education rate was 68 per cent, when she come in power again in 2009, the education rate falls to 45 percent. Sheikh Hasina's government moved the country forward. Now people have been aware and that's why they elected Sheikh Hasina from 2009. 

She said this while addressing a program of scholarship on under Balaganj Osmaninagar Education Trust on Sunday afternoon. 

Education Minister further said I thank the people of Bangladesh for their faith to the Awami League government. Due to the right decisions of the people, the country is moving at an unstoppable pace. People all over the world are wondering - how is this development happening in Bangladesh? How is the country going forward with such a population?

The minister said under the present government no one is hunger. Everyone is getting foods, clothes and electricity in their homes. Mobile is in hand. The amount of development of roads and roads has now been taken to the village houses.
 
Sylhet 4 constituency Mahmud Samad Chowdhury Quaise, Sylhet 2 constituency MP Mokwabir Khan and others were present.
