Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has received a death threat from a man on Facebook Live. He is the first Bangladeshi cricketer who receives such a threat. 

Mohsin Talukder, son of Azad Box Talukder of Shahpur Talukdarpara in Sadar upazila of Sylhet, threatened to kill Shakib Al Hasan on Facebook Live at on Sunday night (12:08 am).

This young man promoted this live video from his own Facebook account 'Mohsin Talukdar'. Out of anger over Shakib, he threatens to hack Shakib to death. At that time, he continued to abuse Shakib in vulgar language.

Revealing his identity in the video, Mohsin said he would walk to Dhaka if necessary to kill Shakib. He appeared on Facebook live again at 6:04 am on Monday and asked Shakib Al Hasan to apologize to the nation.

At the time, Mohsin said he was not making the video under any pressure. He has come to Facebook live again to give Shakib a chance and to give the message to all the other stars like him to walk on the right path.

The two videos were not removed from Facebook until this report.

Chairman of Tukerbazar Union of Sylhet Sadar Upazila Shahid Ahmed told media that he did not know about the matter. However, such a threat to Shakib Al Hasan is certainly reprehensible.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Sylhet Metropolitan Police BM Ashraf Ullah Taher said, "We just became aware of the matter." The video link has been handed over to Cyber ​​Forensics. We immediately started an investigation. Legal action will be taken soon.
