Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan made another milestone in the first ODI against the visiting West Indies. The southpaw touched the milestone of 150 ODI wickets at home soil as the first Bangladeshi bowler.
Shakib, who is playing his 100th match at home made the record by bowling West Indies' Andre McCarthy.
Shakib took 4 wickets for 8 runs in his international came back in 7.2 overs. He is currently the second-highest wicket-taker at a particular venue, surpassing former Pakistan fast bowler Waqar Younis.
Waqar's teammate Wasim Akram tops the list with took 122 wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium while Waqar Younis took 114 wickets at the same venue. Shakib currently has 117 wickets at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
