Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and pacer Mustafizur Rahman returned home from India today as the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 was suspended due to coronavirus. As a result, foreign cricketers are returning to their country from India.
All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and cutter master Mustafizur Rahman returned home today (Thursday) on a chartered flight. This year Shakib has played for Kolkata Knight Riders while Mustafizur Rahman played for Rajasthan Royals.
Shakib and Mustafizur landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Ahmedabad, India at around 4 pm.
It is learned that both of them will have to stay in the institutional quarantine for 14 days. Meanwhile, the two have reached Hotel Sonargaon where they will be in quarantine.
