Legendary actress of Bangla film Kabori left the world on April 17 after fighting with coronavirus. Before her death, she was making the film ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’. Now, the question has arisen after her death – who will finish Kabori’s unfinished movie?
In reply, Nishat Nawar Salwa, actress of the film, told the media on Thursday that Kabori’s son Shaker Chishty would finish the film. He will do the rest of the work by looking at the panel.
“The filming of the movie is completed. Dubbing has also been done in some parts. There are some scenes and patchwork left. Those will be completed after discussion,” she said.
In an interview, Shaker Chishty said, “Initiatives have been taken to complete the remaining work of the movie ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’. Work will start soon.”
“I have to finish this. This is a big responsibility for me,” he also said.
Shaker Chishty has studied films as per the wish and enthusiasm of his mother Kabori, he said, adding that he wanted to make a movie with his mother.
“I will regret this as my wish was not fulfilled,” Shaker said.
The movie ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’ has been made with a government grant. Riyadh Raihan has acted opposite Salwar in the movie. Besides directing, Kabari also acted in it.
