Seven killed on Dhaka-Sirajganj highway

In Sirajganj, seven people were killed in separate two road accidents in Saydabad area of the western connection highway of Bangabandhu Bridge on Wednesday night and in Kadder  More intersection on Thursday morning.

Deputy Assistant Director of Sirajganj Fire Service, Abdul Hamid said that a truck Dhaka-bound from North Bengal collided with another truck from opposite direction in Saidabad area. Two people died on the spot. The fire service members reached the spot and sent them to Sirajganj Bangmata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital. The casualties are believed to be two truck drivers and helper.

Caddar More Traffic Inspector Asad Ali said that a control lost Bogura bound bus of Alif Paribahan collided with a minibus and a truck came from the opposite direction in the morning. Five dead bodies have been recovered from the bus. Besides, 19 people have been rescued in the injured. The deceased and injured have been rushed to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital.
