Seven-day lockdown across country from Monday

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said the government is announcing a seven-day lockdown across the country from next Monday.
He made the remarks at a briefing at his official residence on Saturday morning.
“The Covid-19 situation is constantly deteriorating. Therefore, the government has announced a nationwide lockdown from next Monday (April 5),” the minister said.
The range of the lockdown likely to be extended after seven days if the Cvodi-19 outbreak does not subside, he added.
The Bridges Minister further said the Ministry of Public Administration would give details by this evening. “The industrial factories will continue to operate conditionally.”
