Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiq, and Mahmudullah bagged fifties in the 3rd ODI against West Indies

Tigers post a total of 297 for 6 in the final ODI of the three-match series against the West Indies at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Monday.

Four senior players Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah guide Bangladesh to put the total on the board as all of them bagged fifties in the match.

Mahmudullah played an unbeaten 64 off just 42 balls while Mushfiqur scored 64 off just 55 balls. Earlier, skipper Tamim Iqbal and Shakib AL Hasan depart after scoring fifty. Tamim departed after scoring 64 off 80 while Shakib scored 51 off 81.

Mushfiqur Rahim looks very spontaneous with the bat in the middle. He hits 4 fours and 2 sixes in his innings. Mahmudullah, at the end, played a cameo with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes.

Alzarri Joseph and Raymon Reifer picked up two wickets each for the West Indies while Kyle Mayers claims one.

Earlier, West Indies have won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first in the final ODI at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das opened the innings for Bangladesh. In the fifth ball of the first over, Liton was hit LBW by Alzarri Joseph. He returned to the dressing room without a run. Najmul Hossain Shanto could not do much with the bat in this match. He lost to Kyle Mayers by 20 runs off 30 balls.

If Bangladesh wins this match, the team will get the glory of whitewashing the West Indies for the second time. Despite winning a total of five series against the Caribbean, the Tigers have only been able to whitewash them on the 2009 tour where Bangladesh won the three-match series 3-0.
