A woman named Jenny Baby Costa has committed suicide by hanging herself after losing her job in coronavirus situation in Baraigram of Natore. A day before this, she uploaded 26 pictures of herself on her Facebook wall. In the caption of that post, she wrote - 'When I die, you see these'.

The incident took place at Bahimali village in Majhgaon UP on Saturday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Jenny Baby Costa, daughter of Abraham Costa of the village.

According to the relatives of the deceased, Jenny got divorced 16 years ago. She could not be mingled with anyone else. She used to work for a company in Dhaka for his livelihood. But she lost the job in the coronavirus situation and came to the village three months ago and took shelter in her brother's house. At that time, she was beaten more than once by his brothers, sister-in-law, and nephews.

Jenny was devastated by the loss of her job and the physical and emotional abuse she receives from her relatives. That's why she can commit suicide, think her relatives so.

Touhidul Islam, in-charge of the Bonpara police investigation center, said Jenny Baby Costa hanged herself with a scarf around her neck in her house on Saturday afternoon. The body was recovered in the evening. An unnatural death case has been registered in this incident. A status has been found by visiting the Facebook account of the deceased. In that status on Friday night, she hinted at suicide. She uploaded 26 pictures of herself taken at different times with the caption 'When I die, you see these'.
