Secondary annual exams not be held: Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni on Wednesday said that the secondary annual examination is not being held this year.
At a virtual press conference, the minister said there will be no exam in such a (COVID-19) situation.
“Now a syllabus has been prepared which can be completed in 30 working days. By doing this, students will be able to achieve minimum learning outcomes,” Dr, Dipu Moni said.
She further said that the teachers will give one assignment to the students every week as per the syllabus.
“If students have weaknesses, it will be marked through the evaluation of the assignment. This assessment is only for our understanding to identify their weaknesses,” said Education Minister.
All educational institutions in the country have been closed since March 16 due to the coronavirus outbreak. As per the latest announcement, the educational institutions will be closed till October 31.
